The Witcher 3 – More Hints At Switch Version for E3 – Rumor

This could actually be happening.

Well, as unlikely as it may seem, it’s looking more likely that CD Projekt RED’s critically acclaimed and best-selling game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, could very well be coming to the Nintendo Switch. We reported earlier that retailer version of the game had popped up in Asian retail systems. Those kind of things happen and they don’t mean much (ask Switch fans waiting to pre-order Persona 5 from Best Buy), but now we’ve got two more hints that it is happening.

First, we have the voice actor for the main character, Bob Cockle, giving a bit of a tease by retweeting a mock up of The Witcher 3 on Switch. Of course, that doesn’t mean a lot since a VA probably isn’t directly involved in development. But add that to another teasing tweet by Eurogamer’s Tom Philips talking about a ‘potential’ Switch port and for Nintendo fans to “get ready,” well, we might have something here. You can check out both teases below.

Obviously, this is unofficial as of now, but a lot of smoke out there. It’ll be interesting to see, for sure. Despite being a bit on the older side now, having released in 2015, it’s still considered a technically advanced game and pushed the base PS4 and Xbox One to their limits. What will a Nintendo Switch version look like? Well, we’ll just have to wait and see.
