Titanfall 2 Campaign Length Discussed, Multiplayer and Single-Player Handled Separately

Respawn promises "lot of variety" with locales.

Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 is looking more sumptuous as we enter into its open technical test for multiplayer this weekend. DualShockers recently had a chance to speak to art director Joel Emslie at Gamescom who offered more information on the upcoming first person shooter.

Emslie noted that there’s “a lot of variety” with regards to the locations which are “extremely exotic” overall. The relationship between the protagonist and Titan had to be approached and built up carefully since the Titan remains an important character throughout.

And while the campaign’s length wasn’t exactly clarified, Emslie noted that it’s “a lot longer than people would expect.” The campaign is also completely separate from the multiplayer and handled by different teams at Respawn, which spells good news for weapon balance. However, both teams also tend to share ideas and work together.

Titanfall 2 will be out on October 28th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The open technical test begins on August 19th to 21st and August 26th to 28th.
