Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 will have quite the hefty requirements on PC. The developer officially revealed specifications for minimum, recommended and Ultra set-ups.
Minimum requirements include an Intel Core i3-3600t or similar, 8 GB of RAM and an Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 2 GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850 2 GB. Recommended requirements scale much higher, requiring an Intel Core i5-6600 or similar but with 16 GB of RAM, and Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 6 GB or AMD Radeon RX 480 8 GB. But wait, there’s more – to play at 4K resolution and 60 FPS on Ultra settings, you’ll need an Intel Core i7-6700k or similar with 16 GB RAM and an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 8 GB.
But hey, at least the install size (45 GB) and connection requirement (512 Kbps or higher) is similar across all configurations. It was also noted that there would be a new physics system “that allows for entire levels to change and move under your feet.”
Titanfall 2 is out on October 28th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. For more information on features an FOV slider, mouse sensitivity or just viewing the game in 1440p, check out FrothyOmen’s video below.
