Activision have found huge success in the market with well-made remakes of beloved classics, and they’re going to want to keep that momentum going with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 when it launches this September. And with roughly three months left until launch, pre-orders for the game are now open. What’s more, they have also announced that those who digitally pre-order the game will get access to its Warehouse deme, which will go live on August 14. The demo will, as the name suggests, include the classic Warehouse level.
Additionally, over on the PlayStation blog, it’s also been confirmed that eight new skaters will be added to the game. These skaters will be Lizzie Armanto, Leo Baker, Leticia Bufoni, Riley Hawk (son of Tony Hawk himself), Nyjah Huston, Tyshawn Jones, Aori Nishimura, and Shane O’Neill. These eight will, of course, be joining all the skaters who were featured in the original games when they came out.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 will be releasing for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (via the Epic Games Store) on September 4. Activision have confirmed that the game won’t have microtransactions- at launch.
