The last several years have not been too kind to the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater brand. It saw a lot of titles, many of them rushed and subpar, that brought the once mighty skating franchise back down to Earth. But it seems as if we might have something here with the newest remasters of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2, which seems to be putting in that extra work for a grand revival. Now, let’s get real nostalgic here and see one of the defining levels from the series.
If you didn’t know, Jack Black has a gaming related YouTube channel. Today he uploaded a video featuring the Birdman himself, Tony Hawk, to get a look at the upcoming title. Specifically, we see the Warehouse level that pretty much anyone who played those games back in the day will instantly recognize as a true staple. That level will also be available as a demo to those who preorder digitally at some point before final release. The video also features Tony and Jack, both of which are the coolest of cool dudes.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on September 4th, and will reportedly not have microtransactions.
