SEGA has announced that two of its highly anticipated strategy games, Creative Assembly’s Total War: Rome II and Relic Entertainment’s Company of Heroes 2 will both be playable at Rezzed 2013, taking place on June 22nd to 23rd in The NEC, Birmingham.
Events Director at Gamer Network David Lilley stated that, “The Total War and Company of Heroes franchises represent the pinnacle of PC strategy games. We’re thrilled that SEGA has chosen to bring titles of this calibre to Rezzed”.
Both games are hotly anticipated in their own right but more importantly, this will be the first time that either game will be playable to the general audience.
While Total War: Rome II (releasing on September 3rd) is the follow-up Creative Assembly’s critically acclaimed series as players manage the chaos of the Republic, keeping various factions in line, Company of Heroes 2 is Relic’s next step forward in the RTS genre, boasting a new engine and new faction to play as during World War II, and releasing on June 25th.
