If you were looking forward to seeing some playable action of upcoming FPS Tribes: Ascend, then look no further than this year’s upcoming QuakeCon.
Today, Hi-Rez Studios announced that Tribes: Ascend will be featured at QuakeCon and it will be playable by the public for the first time at the annual gaming convention.
The upcoming free to play title incorporates elements from previous Tribes games, along with new features that will help it stand apart from the competition.
Although the game is still in Closed Alpha, conference attendees will get the first public hands-on with Tribes: Ascend at Booth 333 of QuakeCon, held in Dallas, Texas from August 4th-7th 2011. Attendees can also register to win a limited number of keys to the Tribes: Ascend Closed Beta.
