Did the new Twisted Metal for Playstation 3 fail to satisfy your desire to maximum car-nage? Well, worry not because the original game and arguably the best title in the franchise are coming to a PS3 near you.
That’s right: the first Twisted Metal for the PSOne and Twisted Metal Black for the PS2 will be releasing on PSN this week.
While the former will be listed under PSOne Classics, which makes it playable on the Playstation Portbale and PS3, the latter will be available solely for PS3. Which is odd, considering the PS Vita should be perfectly capable of running it.
Reviews for the first game in the series, released in 1995, are sparse, Twisted Metal Black garnered a strong 91 cumulative score on Metacritic. Black was released in 2001 and became the first game in the series to warrant a Mature rating.
Check back on Tuesday when both titles release on the Playstation Network.
