UK Charts: God of War Back on Top, Vampyr Slips to Eighth

Several high profile titles shifted place in the past week.

Thanks to the recent “Days of Play” promotion by Sony, God of War on the PlayStation 4 has comfortably made its way back to the top selling position in this week’s UK sales charts. Gfk Chart-Track also revealed that other discounted games like Fallout 4 and PlayStation VR Worlds (both bundled titles) managed to move up to third and fifth place respectively.

FIFA 18 still sits comfortably in second place. The same could be said for Detroit: Become Human which is still in fourth place. Grand Theft Auto 5 still hangs on to its spot in the top 10 but in sixth place. It’s followed by Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Vampyr, the former suffering a huge drop from first to eighth place in the span of a week.

Assassin’s Creed Origins saw a strong rise from 21st place to ninth while Call of Duty: WW2 went from 33rd place to tenth. As for Far Cry 5, it went from fifth to 12th place while Xbox One exclusive State of Decay 2 fell from seventh to 13th place.
