The latest Gfk Chart-Track data is in, outlining physical game sales in the UK, and Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has debuted on top. What’s more interesting is that 91 percent of sales have been on the Xbox One and PS4. That’s not good news for previous gen users, especially when you factor in how subpar that version from Beenox looks.
Meanwhile, FIFA 16 is in second place followed by Need for Speed in third place. Halo 5: Guardians moved to fourth place followed by Assassin’s Creed Syndicate in fifth place. Minecraft: Story Mode is in sixth place while WWE 2K16, Grand Theft Auto 5, LEGO Dimensions and Call of Duty: Ghosts occupied the remaining top ten.
This week will be even more interesting with Rise of the Tomb Raider and Fallout 4 launching on November 10th. What will the charts look like for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 in a week’s time? We’ll find out next week so stay tuned for more information.
