When Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End launches on the PlayStation 4 in May, it will be the ultimate Naughty Dog single player adventure. However, it really looks like the developers are trying to up the ante on their multiplayer offerings, too. That explains why they are pushing the mode so much, and why fan favorite modes, such as Plunder, will be returning in the game.
Plunder is Uncharted‘s take on a Capture the Flag type mode, featuring an idol instead of a flag, that players need to recover from the other end of the map, and carry to their chests. It will be playable at PAX East this weekend, and it will also be included in the game itself, when it launches this May. Unlike before, the mode will be 4v4 players, down from the previous 5v5 setup.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is going to be out exclusively on the PlayStation 4 on May 10.
