Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the final entry in Sony and Naughty Dog’s flagship franchise, and it is possibly the biggest, most anticipated, most commercially significant first party game that Sony has ever launched- so it makes sense that it will get the benefit of all the marketing muscle that Sony can provide it with, even in territories where third person shooters traditionally don’t do well. Which is why we have received such great ads for the game on Japanese TV. They end with the motto ‘PS4 Gets Serious,’ making it very clear that Sony are about to unleash the full might of their in house studios now on the console.
