The long awaited final entry in the Uncharted saga, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, is almost here, at long last- it will be launching exclusively on the PS4 on May 10, but the street date for the game already appears to be broken. And we all know that when a story based anticipated game like Uncharted launches early, that inevitably leads to leaks. Leaks that the game’s creative director himself has taken to Twitter to warn fans against.
Posting on Twitter, Neil Druckmann discussed the leaks for the game, asking fans to be on the lookout, and promising that there was more to the story than has been shared so far: “Uncharted 4 is just two weeks away! As we get closer it’ll get harder and harder to control leaks. Stay vigilant. Big surprises in store.”
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be the closing chapter of Nathan Drake’s story- although more games in the Uncharted franchise may be made in the future, Naughty Dog won’t be developing them themselves. It is, truly, the end of an era.
