We could all have guessed this- but Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End really is the biggest game that Sony has ever released. So it does make sense that it would be backed by the biggest media campaign that Sony has ever given a game as well.
And that is exactly what is happening- in this week’s MCV, Sony detailed their media campaign, confirming that it was the biggest ever in PlayStation history, and discussing just the extents to which they have gone to ensure that people are inundated with Uncharted 4. This includes trailers for the game before some extremely big and significant movies, like Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Deadpool, and Captain America: Civil War, ads during some major TV shows such as The Walking Dead, and during some of the biggest sporting events.
That isn’t even all- Sony added that there’s “much more we can’t talk about yet!” Meaning that we are probably going to end up see even more of this game ahead of its launch.
I really like the marketing- I just hope Sony don’t end up overexposing the game, is all. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End launches on the PS4 on May 10.
