We’e been hearing of an Uncharted movie for a very long time, now- at some point, big stars like Chris Pratt were even being considered. However, on the whole, the project appears to have been dormant for a while, and most fans have probably forgotten about it, or assumed the movie was quietly shelved.
Well, it wasn’t! As it turns out, writer and director Joe Carnahan has apparently been working on the script all this while- he, in fact, posted picture of the completed script on Instagram, calling it the most ‘monstrously cool’ action movie script in Hollywood. He also called the movie a ‘BEAST,’ so it’s good to see he’s managing expectations well.
Hopefully, with a completed script, the movie now moves towards actual production; although, given how bad video game movies usually tend to be, maybe it’s for the best if it never gets made, after all…
