Uncharted Remastered Collection Reportedly Coming To PS4

Rumors claim the Remastered Collection would be a kind of apology for the delay of Uncharted 4.

The first time Naughty Dog and Sony talked about an Uncharted Remastered Collection, the developers claimed it wasn’t very likely to happen. Of course, that was back in 2014 and there are a number of things can change in the video gaming world in two years. Earlier this week, rumors started to circulate that there may indeed be plans for a remastered version of the game series.

It makes sense that the company would do something like this now. It made sense for the company to do it two years ago too, but now, with Uncharted 4 being delayed, Naughty Dog might want to do something like this in order to keep the fans sated. Still, Naughty Dog isn’t the one that is talking about putting together a compilation game that would appear to be along the lines of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. This time, the rumors are getting started thanks to a man named Tamaki, who is well known as getting the inside dish in the video game world. You may know him from Unseen64, a site that compiles information on cancelled games.

On Monday, Tamaki tweeted out, “And now we just wait for Sony to announce Uncharted Remastered officially.” Shortly after that tweet went out, Tamaki had a user respond to him that they hoped that wasn’t the big game announcement that Sony was planning for E3. He responded that wasn’t the case and that this collection was indeed a sort of “I’m sorry” for the wait on Uncharted 4. If an Uncharted Remastered Collection is indeed coming, it’s likely it may not be the announcement at E3 but will definitely be an announcement at this year’s show.
