Naughty Dog is, without a doubt, the best asset Sony has. The studio has been at the forefront of PlayStation exclusive development from the early days of the first PlayStation, with hit properties such as Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, Uncharted, and The Last of Us. Now, with the twentieth anniversary of the PlayStation upon us, and ahead of the PlayStation Experience event, the developer decided to talk about a variety of topics, including a possible Uncharted Trilogy set for the PS4, DLC for The Last of Us: Remastered, and Crash Bandicoot on PS4.
On Crash Bandicoot, Naughty Dog said that it’s ‘not likely [because] Activision owns Crash,’ putting a definitive end to all the speculation surrounding the property.
They were also similarly clear about there being no Uncharted Collection, stating, explicitly, that there was ‘nothing brewing for it.’
However, they did confirm that they will be offering brand new DLC for The Last of Us at the upcoming PlayStation Experience event, promising that it will be playable there, while also clarifying that the new DLC will not be part of the DLC and will have to be bought separately, since the ‘Season Pass ended a while ago, and [Naughty Dog] delivered on more than [they] promised with the Season Pass.’
Alright, then.
