Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Will Be Unlike Any Previous Uncharted Game In Its Freedom Of Exploration

Yes, bigger than even Madagascar.

Get all thoughts that the upcoming Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will be just a throwaway cash in put together at the last minute out of your mind- it is looking more and more like the game will be a full fledged standalone entry- and indeed, according to Naughty Dog, it may be fuller fledged than some of the previous games in the series, even.

In the latest issue of Game Informer magazine, Naughty Dog Designer James Cooper said that Naughty Dog had created their single largest level ever for any Uncharted game with Lost Legacy– yes, this includes the gigantic Madagascar level from Uncharted 4 too.  The end result will be that the game will feel unlike anything else an Uncharted game has ever done before. “We have this really great location with the rural Western Ghats that allows us to get a true sense of exploration, unlike anything we’ve done before where the level design isn’t directing you exactly where to go,” he said

If Naughty Dog actually lives up to its word this time, then, and makes this the last entry in the series, at least it looks like the franchise will be going out in style.
