Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Will Not Feature Nathan Drake In Any Capacity

The thief's story ended in Uncharted 4, after all.

While we know that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will be following fan favorite character Chloe, as well as Uncharted 4 antagonist Nadine in the lead roles, there was still some general hope that Nathan Drake, the iconic series star, will feature in it as well. However, Sid Shuman, Social Media Director at SIEA, took to the PlayStation Blog today to reveal that that will not in fact be happening- Drake will not feature in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy at all, not even as a cameo.

“We entertained a few possible ideas around including Nate as a secondary character,” he said. “But everything we did felt superfluous because we tied it all up with Uncharted 4. You can sort of imagine Drake sitting on the couch playing Crash Bandicoot while Chloe and Nadine are off galavanting.”

So there you have it, folks- it’s a bit of a shame, but creatively, this decision makes total sense. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will be out on PlayStation 4 exclusively.
