Valkyria Chronicles 4 Crosses 1 Million Units Sold

The tactical RPG has racked up decent sales since launching in 2018.

Sega’s Valkyria Chronicles 4 might not have been the biggest release of 2018 but it’s had its fair share of followers. In recent post on the Sega Asia Blog which covers various discounts for Sega’s 60th anniversary, the RPG was revealed to have sold over one million units. These sales are worldwide and presumably cover all platforms.

As a return to form for the series, Valkyria Chronicles 4 is more of a tactical RPG like the very first game. Set in the same timeframe, the story is about Squad E, namely Commander Claude Wallace as he and his friends battle the imperial army. New features like Last Stand and a new Grenadier class coincide with the returning BLiTZ system.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is available on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. You can read our official review for the game here. The Complete Edition is currently available for $50 and includes all of the DLC but the base game’s price is only $30 for all platforms.
