Vampyr’s Switch Version Will Release In October

The bloodsucking doctor will be back in this October.

There’s a lot of great things about this generation of consoles that you can point to. I think one of my personal favorites is that midrange budget games have managed to make a comeback. One such example was last year’s Vampyr, the action RPG from Dontnod that managed to sell more than million copies. Now, it’ll get to add a little extra to that number, as you’ll be able to take the vampiric adventure on the go.

It was announced near the end of last year that the game would be coming to the Nintendo Switch, but it’s been completely silent since then, making some wonder if it’d been quietly canned. Now, via Dontnod’s original French website, company founder Oskar Guilbert talked about the industry and recent changes to the company. He also mentioned Vampyr‘s success, and said the Switch version with launch in October of 2019.

The Switch’s second half of this year is pretty packed as is, but add one more to that catalog, because it really is a bloody gem of a game. Vampyr is also currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
