Warcraft 3: Reforged is Now Available on PC

Players are reporting several issues with multiplayer, UI design, bugs, and more.

Blizzard Entertainment’s Warcraft 3: Reforged is now live for PC. The remaster revives the classic real-time strategy title with improved graphics, revamped cutscenes, re-recorded voicelines, modified campaign maps and lots of balance changes. It also supports cross-play with the original Classic version. Check out the launch trailer below.

Unfortunately, it seems the remaster has some issues. Several players on Reddit and the forums are reporting problems with multiplayer, disappointing variety and quality of the animations, and even an instant defeat while playing the campaign missions. There’s even a rather odd issue that forces Reforged to launch even if you want to play the Classic version.

That’s not including complaints with the UI, the lack of a unit selection cap removal in campaign and custom games, etc. If you’re really eager to hop back into Warcraft 3 with Reforged, then it might be worth waiting for patches and improvements down the line. Until then, stay tuned for more news and updates.
