Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector Gets Free Daemonic Update

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector now has the free Daemonic update, which adds a new game mode, new maps, and smaller changes throughout the game.

Turn-based strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is getting a major free update. Titled the Daemonic Update, the update brings quite a few new features for Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector.

The biggest addition to Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector in the Daemonic Update is the new game mode: Siege. The game mode features asynchronous objectives, and is available in skirmish, multiplayer, and base attack battles in the Planetary Supremacy mode. The game mode involves players having to capture 4 strategic capture points, while the defender works on eliminating the attacker.

The Daemonic Update also brings three new maps to Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector—The Blood Angels-themed Fortress of Redemption, the Tyranid-themed Feeding Grounds, and the Necron-themed Blackstone. The maps are available in Planetary Supremacy’s base attack battles, skirmishes, and multiplayer.

Planetary Supremacy is also getting a new minor faction in the form of the Daemons of Khorne. The Chaos-aligned faction features Khornate Daemons, including the Bloodmaster, Bloodletters, Flesh Hounds, and the Skull Cannon.

The update also features smaller changes, such as new starting positions for minor faction units in Planetary Supremacy battles, and the ability to spend additional Requisition Tokens in Planetary Supremacy.

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is available on PC.
