Developer Fatshark has released a new trailer for upcoming co-op FPS Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. The trailer hopes to explain the upcoming game to those that might be curious and lack experience with the studio’s earlier releases like Vermintide 2.
The 7-minute long trailer goes into quite a bit of detail about various aspects of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, including the premise, the available character classes, a few key details about the Warhammer 40,000 setting, and the general vibe that players can explain from the game.
The trailer also goes quite in-depth into the general gameplay loop for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, from character creation to matchmaking for its 4-player missions. It also shows off the game’s hybrid combat that has players constantly switching between long-range guns and melee weapons as the need arises.
And finally, the trailer explains the game’s progression systems, which involves leveling up your character by playing through missions, unlocking playstyle-defining feats along the way. Earning the trust of your Techpriest also allows you to access the Shrine of the Omnissiah, allowing for weapon and armour customisation.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is coming to PC on November 30. The game is also set for release on Xbox Series X/S down the line.
