After four years of development, Saber Interactive’s Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is available now for Gold and Ultimate Edition owners. However, as is commonly the case for big titles with early access launches, there have been some issues, like crashes and players getting booted from multiplayer sessions.
Publisher Focus Entertainment apologized for the issues on Twitter while confirming that its teams “are currently working to fix them.” It currently has a community forum post highlighting the most common issues, including crashes on the first cinematic.
Players can also get stuck in infinite loading screens or suffer crashes when attempting to launch Operations. Restarting is the only fix for the latter two issues. Connectivity issues have also been reported on PS5, with players unable to join each other’s games. While still under investigation, the current goal is to address all of the above in the first patches, so sit tight.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is out on September 9th for Standard Edition owners. Check out our review, where we awarded it a nine out of ten.
