Although we’ve known about Watch Dogs 2 and even its release window (apparently holiday season this year) for a few months now, we haven’t actually seen the game, nor heard much about it. That should change this E3- although we’ve been expecting an E3 debut for the game for a while now, a new bit of, er, news basically confirms that the game is going to be unveiled soon.
Leading sunglasses manufacturer Ray-Ban recently posted a tweet about Watch Dogs 2, even going so far as to tag Ubisoft in it, basically confirming that a) the game exists, and is going to be revealed soon, and perhaps more importantly for Ubisoft, b) that it will have some sort of cross branding promotion with Ray-Ban. Ka ching!
Watch Dogs 2 is anticipated to launch for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC by holiday season this year. Hopefully, it represents as much an improvement over the disappointing first outing as Assassin’s Creed II did over its own equally disappointing predecessor.
