Watch Dogs: Legion Has 60 FPS Update In Development For Next Gen Consoles

No timeframe for when it could release, however.

Ubisoft once again returned to the Watch Dogs franchise with Legion, an open world title in the near future that allowed you to play as literally anyone and everyone in the game world to fight a fascist regime. Like most Ubisoft titles, it’s planned to get lots of post-launch content, and it was also one of the first titles from the publisher to hit new gen consoles. It seems those two things are colliding in an upcoming update.

In a Reddit AMA with Live Producer Lathieeshe Thillainathan and Online Director JP Cambiotti, it was mentioned that a 60 FPS patch was in development for next generation consoles. There is, unfortunately, no exact date or even timeframe for when to expect that. It’s also worth mentioning that they only talked in broad terms of “next gen consoles”, and obviously they mean the PS5 and Xbox Series X, but it’s unclear if they are also including the Series S in that as well.

Watch Dogs: Legion is available on all the systems mentioned above now, as well as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia.
