Battle Chasers: Nightwar developer Airship Syndicate has revealed new gameplay for its upcoming free-to-play action RPG Wayfinder. In addition to showcasing a few characters and their abilities, it also highlights the Lost Zones, dungeons that can be modified for higher challenges (and hopefully rewards).
The developer also announced that the closed beta would begin on February 28th for PS5 and PC. Players can register here for a chance to play. Early access is also coming in May for PC, PS4 and PS5. Those who purchase a Founder’s Pack can gain access before the game’s launch later this year, and progression won’t reset during this period.
Founder’s Packs will have multiple tiers, each with exclusive cosmetics, pets and mounts unobtainable outside of them, and there will also be upgrades. Finally, there are Seasons, each introducing a new character and signature weapon. These last for three months, with two taking place during early access, and will feature new events, accessories, enemies and challenges. More details will be revealed this Spring, so stay tuned.
