Will Titanfall Suffer From The Same Issues As Battlefield 4? EA Responds

"The challenges that we've faced with Battlefield 4 were different from anything that we've seen before with other games."

Last night, in their quarterly earnings call, gaming tycoons EA games offered comment on the controversial issue of their recent game releases–specifically commenting on the bug-riddled release of Battlefield 4 and how that has made many gamers worry about the release of Titanfall, which has grown to become one of the most anticipated games so far this year.

“Based on our pre-launch testing, our beta performance, we were confident the game was ready when it [Battlefield 4] was launched. Shortly after launch, however, we began hearing about problems from our player community, and the development team quickly began to address the situation,” revealed EA Games boss Patrick Söderlund.

“The challenges that we’ve faced with Battlefield 4 were different from anything that we’ve seen before with other games. There were different issues that only manifest [their] scale in the post-launch live environment. We’re taking multiple steps to evaluate what occurred and incorporate those learnings into our development process for future products, so we don’t experience the same problems again.”

Only time will tell as the launch of Titanfall draws near.
