Battlefield 4 has been a colossal failure for EA so far- the game launched with as many bugs and glitches as a Bethesda game, and a host of server issues and file and progress deletions became so bad and out of hand that EA and DICE announced that they would refrain from releasing any new Battlefield content until the existing content was fixed.
But more problems seem to be arising, as Battlefield 4 players are now experiencing ‘intermittent connection problems’ that EA and DICE are aware of and working to fix.
“We are continuing to monitor some intermittent connectivity issues affecting some players across various platforms. Thank you for your patience. We will update this with further information as available,” the update reads.
It’s not quite clear how widespread these issues are, but in conjunction with all the other problems plaguing the game, they are generating nothing but bad press for the game, and tarnishing the brand- in a year when Call of Duty messed it up so bad that this was EA’s best shot at claiming the shooter throne, that requires some special effort.
