Windblown Enters Steam Early Access on October 24th

Early access includes five biomes and 12 weapons, though a single-player demo will also be available during Steam Next Fest.

Motion Twin’s Windblown will be available for Steam Early Access on October 24th. Before that, a free demo will go live from October 14th to 21st as part of Steam Next Fest, though it’s single-player only. Those who participate can unlock a “Guinea Pig” skin for use in the early access version. Check out the trailer below.

Windblown will remain in early access for a minimum of one year and features five biomes and 12 weapons. Up to three players can play together with the full version offering even more biomes, levels, weapons, and more. The price will also increase upon exiting early access, but there may be a slight bump during the period “if we feel we have brought significant content and value to your experience.”

Like with Dead Cells, Motion Twin will take feedback from players during early access, whether it’s through surveys or playtest sessions. There will also be a Discord server dedicated to the title coming next year. For more details on Windblown’s weapons, abilities, and boss fights, head here.
