Wo Long 2: Winds Of Ember Revealed, Releases Early 2027

This one was a pleasant and delightful surprise, and it seems like Team NINJA has made things bigger and better in its sequel.

Well, well, well. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is getting a sequel that’s going to be in our hands sometime in early 2027.

Wo Long 2: Winds of Ember was revealed at the XBOX Games Showcase, and it’s a doozy! The trailer shows off some sick action and visuals, all of it in the service of a story that sees your character trying to end decades of battles in a violent cycle, all for gaining control of the elixir of immortality. Of course, you’re going to be quite the warrior thanks to a combat system that’s bringing back the parry-focused gameplay from the first game with style and apparent substance.

Things aren’t going to be easy, however, thanks to some boss designs that look absolutely nasty to take on, although the places where you meet them are looking like they could give you a reason to catch your breath and take in the sights from time to time. We can’t wait to get started with this one, especially since Team NINJA said that it wasn’t planning sequel to its first title a while ago. If this one’s anything as good as Fallen Dynasty was, we’re in for quite a treat.

We’re hoping that the Morale System makes a return, although it wasn’t on display in the trailer showcased below.
