Xbox Elite 2 Controllers Hit Stores November 4th

The controller for the hardcore gets an update that includes USB-C and Bluetooth.

For most people, the controllers we get out of the box are more than enough. But for those who really want to go the extra mile and are never quite satisfied with them and want more options, the Xbox Elite controller has been something of a godsend. Now Microsoft has announced that the controller is getting a refresh that includes even more options later this year.

The Xbox Elite Series 2 was announced at Microsoft’s E3 press conference. It will enjoy the same premium build as the original model, but Microsoft says this version has been reengineered for maximum customization. The triggers and bumpers have seen updates for quicker response. It will also include new adjustable tension thumbsticks. On top of all of this it will now also include support for USB-C and Bluetooth, along with a rechargeable battery that will last up to 40 hours.

Of course, for the premium product you have to pay that premium price. It will release on November 4th for $179.99. Preorders are live now. Check out the trailer below.
