Xbox Live 12 Month Subscription Available for $40, 3 Months of Game Pass for $10

Microsoft lowering the price of its subscription services to make them a bit more alluring.

As part of the Xbox Ultimate Sale, which goes live starting tomorrow, Microsoft will be lowering the prices of its subscription services on Xbox for a bit. Starting tomorrow, you can get 12 months of Xbox Live for $40– this is down from the $60 you would otherwise have to spend. That said, do remember that this reduced subscription does not stack- meaning, you can’t buy more than a year’s worth.

Almost more tempting is the offer on Game Pass subscriptions- typically, a Game Pass subscription is $10 for a month. But starting tomorrow, you can get three months of Game Pass for that same price, for $10. Similarly, this subscription does not stack- so you can only get one, and that’s that. That said, it will add on to your existing Game Pass subscription (if you have any). Even so, Game Pass is great deal, so I say it’s worth it to get this, and dig into the available catalog of 180+ games– it will also tide you to well beyond Forza Horizon 4‘s release (which is also going to be available on Game Pass when it launches).

These offers will be available worldwide (albeit dependent on the availability of these services in your region to begin with), and carry through for 14 days, until August 1.
