Xbox One Experience Update Rolls Out For Preview Members, Includes Fixes

Still quite a few issues unresolved.

Slowly but surely, Microsoft has been rolling out tweaks and changes for the Xbox One Experience (what the company calls the Xbox One dashboard) to those who have enrolled in the preview program. Now the company has rolled out what can only be described as a rather massive update that brings a ton of new features, as well as changes and fixes geared to make the dashboard that much better. This update rolled out on Sunday and the amount of things the rollout changed is quite impressive.

This particular update isn’t bringing a whole bunch of new things on offer. Instead it appears the update, which was listed on the private forums and helpfully broken down by DualShockers mostly updates and fixes things that were out there before. There is one addition with this rollout, the “community calendar” application is brand new. Other than that, the list of things that have been fixed and updated include a fix for the Friends List, as well as things like Wireless Networking and other little issues that have popped up since the last update was rolled out.

Despite the fact that this update is rather large, Microsoft has also pointed out a number of problems that still exist. The good news is the company is actually aware of these problems. Among the known issues are several games not launching (which is a rather large problem) as well as a number of streaming video applications that are also not working. In other words, this preview version of the Xbox One experience is still not ready for prime time.
