We recently brought you some news for the upcoming update for the Xbox One‘s March update that’s currently being rolled out in the preview states. This iteration of the software update brings users tile transparency that brings a measure of customisation to their tiled home screen.
With Tiles having finally received support for transparency, this adjustable setting can be accessed through Settings > My Xbox > Tile Transparency. The settings are however presets and there’s no slider to get the result you may want exactly, but the various presets are varied enough that they will more than likely be suitable for your needs.
The preset settings are titled, “Mostly Solid”, “Partly Transparent” and “Mostly Transparent”.
The other feature of this update is the long awaited screenshot feature, though at the minute there’s no support for actually sharing the screenshots you take, they can only be used as background. Sharing support will be added and rolled out at a later date according to Microsoft.
