Xbox One Price Rises Back to $400

Microsoft's console is no longer available for $350 in the United States.

After providing a price cut for the Xbox One in time for the Holiday season, US retailers have now pushed the console back to its original price.

The console sold for $350 from November 2014 onwards which helped the console to challenge the PlayStation 4’s sales worldwide. Needless to say, it worked as the Xbox One had sold the most units in both the United States and United Kingdom. It’s now at $400 though if you look closely enough, you’ll find some bundles on Amazon in the US which sell for $380.

The Xbox One’s first major price cut occurred in June 2014 just before E3. Microsoft announced that a Kinectless version of the console would be made available and it would cost $100 less than the launch price. Kinect is now retailing separately though it’s clearly been relegated to the background in recent months.

Will the Xbox One see another price drop this year? Stay tuned for the latest updates to find out.
