Remote play is becoming a pretty important feature for the next generation of consoles, like the PlayStation Vita’s ability to play PS4 games on the go. However, it seems that the Xbox One will also have that feature.
As Polygon noted, during a demonstration of Skype for the Xbox One, it seemed that the player on the receiving end could join in and take over from the other player, while the latter watches. Given how Skype for Xbox One is trying to encourage players to cooperate with each other, it seems like the perfect feature.
However, Microsoft didn’t confirm the same. “In the days since we announced Xbox One there has been a lot of random speculation about various features and potential future scenarios for Xbox One. We look forward to sharing more details at a later date, but aren’t discussing anything further at this time.”
The Xbox One is set to release at the end of 2013.
