Xbox One Twitch Streamers Broadcast 23 Million Minutes Since Launch, Titanfall Most Popular

Xbox One sees 2.7 million minutes of streaming in the first 24 hours.

The Xbox One finally saw the launch of online video streaming app Twitch on March 10th and it’s been nothing but a success since then. Microsoft reports that players have streamed almost 23 million minutes since launch, with 2.7 million minutes in the initial 24 hour period making it the “most ever for a Twitch console app in its first day.”

Twitch COO Kevin Lin stated that, “Microsoft has a put a lot of time and effort into ensuring their Twitch integration would be a robust experience, and based on the amount of Xbox One owners streaming from their living rooms, the move paid off. This high rate of adoption for our console integrations has elevated our role in the entertainment industry.

“People go to Hulu to watch TV, Netflix to watch movies, and now they go to Twitch to watch and broadcast video games. We’re really fortunate for such a passionate and progressive community who made this all possible.”

It seems that Respawn’s Titanfall is the most popular game broadcast from the Xbox One according to Twitch, as players have streamed more than 10 million minutes of the game.
