Xbox One UK Price Shoehorned at Last Minute for E3?

Spencer's stumble just before the price announcementis the key.

Now this is interesting: New video evidence has emerged, just after Microsoft Games Studio head Phil Spencer announced the price for the Xbox One and just before the reveal of Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall, that indicates that the Xbox One UK price was shoehorned in at the last minute for E3.

At one point, during the presentation, you can see Spencer stumble a bit when announcing the price for the Xbox One. That stumble itself wouldn’t be enough, really. Maybe the guy felt the pressures of the crowd’s eyes on him?

However, just before the TitanFall presentation, you hear Spencer saying, “I thought they took out the UK price.” Suddenly, that stumble makes all the more sense now. And if you don’t believe the snippet above, just check the full presentation at around the same time (1:19:32).

It could be that Spencer had received information about the UK price being included at the last minute in his headset. If that’s so, the question arises: Was it always planned to not reveal the UK price? What changed?

Hopefully more answers will arise soon but more importantly, how does Spencer forget his mic is still on?
