Xbox One X Supersampling Feature To Be Shown Before Launch, PUBG Beta Being Worked On: Microsoft Exec

He also says that they are working on more Xbox One X units and reiterates once again that it's the most powerful console ever made.

One of the big advantages that the Xbox One X will have over the PS4 Pro will be its system level support for supersampling. In laymen terms, supersampling enhances texture and image quality even for people who are on 1080p panels, so they can enjoy improved visual fidelity without having a 4K TV.

This is a feature we have not yet had a chance to see a lot of- but speaking on Twitter, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg explicitly promised that Microsoft plans on showing this feature off in detail before the console’s launch. Which should be great, as it might also manage to convince many with just 1080p TVs to jump on board with Microsoft’s new console.

Greenberg also remarked on the sold out Xbox One X pre-orders, noting that he loves the excitement, and that Microsoft will make as many of the consoles as they can. In response to a fan’s question about how future proofed the Xbox One X might be, he re-iterated that it was designed to be the most powerful console ever made.

Finally, he also teased that the public beta for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on the Xbox One is coming soon, and that Microsoft will share more news on it shortly. So hang on tight, Xbox fans.

The Xbox One X launches on November 7.
