Xbox VR Rumors Continue To Gain Credibility, E3 Website Lists Two Companies Making Xbox VR Games

Where there is smoke, there is fire...

Rumors about the Xbox getting some kind of VR compatibility continue to gain more and more credibility- after the initial leak, we’ve already had developers come out and admit that the functionality is coming to Microsoft’s console in a big way.

Now, we have even more evidence that Microsoft will be announcing VR for Xbox, and that they will be doing it at E3 this year. The E3 website has listed two developers working on VR games for Xbox- Bigben Interactive, who made the just released Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter and are working on the upcoming WRC 6, and Immersion Corporation- making it very clear that Xbox VR is on the way.

As to what form it will take, that is anybody’s guess. My assumption, though I may be wrong here, is that Microsoft and Oculus will have partnered to make the headset work with the console in some capacity, rather than Microsoft having worked on an in house solution- but hey, we’ll know for sure by this time next month.
