007 First Light wouldn’t be a James Bond game if you weren’t being as stylish about your spying as you could manage, right?
Sony has had the same idea, and the results of that train of thought have led to the announcement of a very stylish limited edition of the DualSense controller. It’s a lovely shade of gold, a not-so-subtle homage to Goldfinger, with the game’s logo emblazoned on the touchpad. We’re quite excited to see one out in the wild, as it’s a design that’s quite catchy (and hopefully not as susceptible to drifting).
It’s definitely something Bond would use if he were to break the fourth wall and play the beginning of his tryst with MI6 himself. Of course, he’d probably appreciate precision, especially when having to use every tool at his disposal in title intent on making the player feel as much like Bond as possible.
Pre-orders for the controller begin on April 16th, and it launches alongside the game on May 27th (although you’re going to have to wait little longer to play it on the Nintendo Switch 2). There’s even a very cool trailer for the controller, which you can check out below.
