IO Interactive will reveal over 30 minutes of new gameplay and details for 007 First Light later today in new State of Play. However, it appears that the action-adventure title’s various editions and prices have been leaked ahead of the official announcement, courtesy of Dealabs’ billbil-kun.
The Standard Edition will allegedly be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch for $69.99, digitally and physically. A physical Collector’s Edition is also launching for all platforms sans the Switch 2, retailing for $299.99. Listings are seemingly live on Amazon.
Interestingly, September 3rd is the “date first available,” so pre-orders should officially begin after the State of Play. Stay tuned for more details and updates in the meantime.
007 First Light arrives in 2026 for the above platforms and follows a younger James Bond, who joins MI6 as a recruit. Throughout the story, players will acquire iconic gadgets and witness his transformation from a strapping young lad with hopes and dreams to the more calculating 007 of yore.
