Gears of Breakfast’s A Hat in Time received the Nyakuza Metro DLC on PC last year, followed with it and Seal the Deal coming to the Nintendo Switch version later. What about the Xbox One and PS4 though? As it turns out, the developer has been working hard on porting to those consoles. It shared a new clip on Twitter of its progress.
It’s still too early to reveal a release date. Gears for Breakfast said there’s “still work to be done” and that it “may be a while” before there’s more to showcase or announce. This isn’t exactly out of the ordinary – A Hat in Time was announced for the Switch in August 2018 and wouldn’t release until October 2019.
Seal the Deal adds new chapter and Death Wish difficulty along with new outfits, dyes and flairs to earn. It also offers six new Time Rifts to explore. Nyakuza Metro is far more substantial with new Time Pieces, a new area, new weapons and even more customization options. Players can also team up in teams of three to clear Time Rifts or play in groups of up to 50 in open areas. Stay tuned for more details on their releases for Xbox One and PS4.
