Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Gets Twenty Minutes of Gameplay Footage In New Videos

Two new videos show off missions 6 and 7 from the upcoming title.

Bandai Namco recently confirmed that the long, long wait for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown would be coming to an end when it launches in January 2019, and they’ve been steadily building up the hype for it as we get closer to its launch day. They’ve now released two video for the game that showcase plenty of gameplay footage.

One of the videos shows gameplay from the sixth mission of the game, titled “Long Day”, while the second video showcases the seventh mission, called “First Contact”. Collectively, there’s twenty minutes of footage in both, from mission briefings, to taking detailed looks at your aircraft before heading out, to the actual missions themselves. Mission 6 is set in a desert area with the player conducting attacks on several bases, while mission 7 is set in a dense, forested area, where a heavy cloud cover and the danger of thunderstorms forces the player to fly low.

It’s looking pretty good, so be sure to take a look below. Plenty of new details about aircraft, characters, and the game’s story were also revealed by Bandai Namco recently.
