It’s been a while since Innersloth announced Among Us for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and recently confirmed that though there had been a little bit of a delay, the popular multiplayer social deduction game would still be coming to the consoles this year. Now, an exact release date has been announced.
Innersloth has announced that Among Us will be releasing for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on December 14. Like other platforms, the game will cost $4.99 on each of those platforms. It will, of course, support cross-play across all platforms. Meanwhile, as previously announced, on Xbox consoles, the game will also be available via Xbox Game Pass at launch.
Innersloth has also confirmed release dates and windows for several physical editions of the game, which were announced while back, are being released in collaboration with Maximum Games. Innersloth says these will be released at staggered times “due to regional shipping restrictions.”
The Crewmate Edition will launch in the UK and Europe on December 14, in Japan and South Korea on December 16, and in the US, Canada, and Latin America on January 11, 2022. Meanwhile, the Impostor Edition and Ejected Edition will both release sometime in 2022 across multiple territories.
Currently, Among Us is available on PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
