Anthem: BioWare Currently Iterating And Polishing E3 Gameplay

Not long to go now!

With not long left until this year’s E3 conferences, you wouldn’t be wrong for assuming that developers of some of the biggest upcoming games will be working pretty hard on what they’ll be showing off in a couple months’ time. The same is also the case for BioWare’s upcoming Anthem.

BioWare’s Brenon Holmes, who’s been very active on Reddit over the past year or so with his responses to questions and queries by fans, recently responded to yet another fan question about what it was that BioWare were currently doing with the game, and stated that with E3 right around the corner, all focus for now is on perfecting what they’re going to show off at the show. “Everyone is currently working pretty hard,” Holmes said. “We’re doing a lot of iterating and polish on the content that will be the focus for EA Play / E3.”

In the same thread, another user wondered how E3 actually affects the overall development of the game, and Holmes said that in such situations, focus usually shifts from the larger picture to getting the details right for the specific part of the game they will be showing to the world. “It’s more a question of focus,” he said. “The things we’re showing have to get done at some point, but if we weren’t showing it at E3 we’d likely be doing it in a slightly different order.”

E3 2018 is less than two months away now, while Anthem itself will be launching for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC sometime next year. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage on the game.
