If you’re looking to play a good chunk of BioWare’s upcoming shared-world shooter Anthem prior to its full launch, there’s multiple ways you can do that. Through the game’s official Twitter page, the developer has given details on how exactly that will be possible.
It can be done three ways. The first, of course, is through the game’s demo, which was announced recently, and will be going live on February 1, three weeks before the full game launches. There’s multiple ways you can get access to the demo. You can either pre-order the game’s standard edition, or its Legion of Dawn edition. Additionally, if you have a subscription to EA Origin, either via Origin Access Basic or Origin Access Premier, or if you’re subscribed to EA Access on Xbox One, you can get access to the demo that way as well.
Another way to get into the game before it launches is by having an EA Origin Access Premier subscription. This subscription will give you early access to the game, as it does with all major EA releases, and you’ll be able to play it on February 15. Lastly, having either an Origin Access Basic subscription on PC or an EA Access subscription on Xbox One will let you play the game’s first 10 hour-long trial, which also goes live on February 15.
So yeah, no luck for you if you play on the PS4. Then again, by February 15, Anthem will only be a week away from its full launch on February 22, so you won’t have to wait long anyway.
