Anthem’s Newest Update Is Relatively Smaller, Fixes Crashes and Bugs

Proper HDR can now also be enabled on consoles.

Anthem has launched with plenty of issues, many of which pertain to the game’s technical faults, which often actively get in the way of players even being able to play the game properly. BioWare attempted to address many of these with patch on the day of the game’s global launch, but several issues still persist.

Now, another update has been put out by the developers for the game. Update 1.03 is significantly smaller than the previous one, but fixes known issues with bugs and crashes. There was also a bug due to which the final boss of the “Return to the Heart of Rage” Stronghold was failing to properly appear in some situations, which has also been addressed. Meanwhile, HDR can now also be turned on on consoles properly (if your display supports it, of course).

Anthem is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. BioWare recently released a detailed roadmap of the upcoming content that is going to be added to the game over the next few months.
